Safety Notice
Last updated: August 21, 2026
This notice explains the safety information relevant when handing an electric scooter to segcee for diagnosis or repair.
Before bringing your scooter
Switch the scooter off, remove any loose accessories and do not ride it if you suspect brake, steering, battery or tyre damage. Tell us about faults, modifications, water exposure and any previous repair work.
Battery and charging safety
Do not charge, open, puncture or transport a swollen, leaking, unusually hot or damaged battery. If a battery shows these signs, move away from it, avoid contact with any leaking material and seek emergency guidance where appropriate. Contact the workshop before transport.
Handover and test rides
A repair assessment does not make a scooter safe to ride until the agreed work has been completed and the customer has received the handover information. Follow the operating manual, local road rules and any care guidance supplied with the repair.
Emergency situations
For fire, smoke, injury or an immediate safety risk, call the local emergency number 112 in Germany. The workshop contact number is for service enquiries and is not an emergency line: +49 30 555 018 42.
Service limitations
segcee may decline or pause work where a scooter is unsafe to handle, where the required parts are unavailable, or where a requested modification would be unlawful or technically unsuitable. The proposed scope is confirmed in writing before work begins.
